Welcome to my COVID-19 dashboard, which gives daily updates on the state of COVID-19 in South Africa. These data are updated daily based on data released by the National Institute of Communicable Diseases, and Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center.

Note:
- Selection bias means that these data in no way reflect the prevalence of the disease.
- Because testing capacities and testing strategies differ between countries, direct comparisons between countries is fraught.
- No provincial breakdown of the number of cases on: 2020-03-27, 2020-04-07
- No data on the number of tests completed on: 2020-03-25, 2020-04-07 (took mid-point between 2020-04-06 and 2020-04-08).
